Materials needed

  • Leather

Leather: 2sq feet or piece of 12” W x 20” H, lamb or garment leather of 3-4.5oz thickness.

Fabric: We need a piece of 13x36” (33x90cm) so the cut of 13” height and standard length will be enough. The stores usually sell half of the yard minimum though.

Zipper : metal or plastic of 10.5” long (26.5cm)

  • Tools

▫️utility knife or rotary knife to cut the top edge

    ▫️scissors

    ▫️ruler

    ▫️glue

▫️thread - I use V-92 polyester thread, and t-70 will work too (more about the thread is in theStitching Practice and Bag Making Basics class

  • Time of making

About 2 hours from start to finish, and if you want to make it with the slide pockets inside then +about 30 minutes more.

  • Can I sell the purse I make?

Feel free to make and sell all finished products made from this pattern; please you may not share, sell, or distribute this pattern and photos of this pattern in any way, in whole or in part.
