Let me share a bit of my journey

I had a bag that I used for years, but unfortunately, one day it started to fall apart. I was a novice at the time, eager to carry a decent leather bag but unable to afford one. However, I had my old leather jacket and a strong desire to carry my favorite style again.

Lacking knowledge of pattern-making, I decided to use the details of the old bag as a pattern. That first bag became the longest project I've ever undertaken. I didn't know how to stitch or reinforce properly, and I couldn't understand why my sewing machine refused to stitch leather. I questioned whether it was my fault or the wrong thread/needle combination.

Despite my efforts to find information, all I discovered were old traditional leather crafting books and YouTube videos about hand-stitching. They covered styles I didn't particularly like and wasn't excited to make.

After completing my first bag, I found an online leather store and began purchasing leather there. However, I made numerous mistakes when selecting leather, resulting in material that wasn't suitable for my projects. While I was happy to explore this new world, the lack of organization and knowledge made the process feel chaotic, and I often felt stuck.

Through trial and error, I've honed a system that takes the chaos out of crafting. It allowed me to become a full-time artist having clients all over the world and making a living on my craft and it can help you to dive into your passion with confidence and clarity.
